Stony Brook's Tommy Brenton has earned the StatSheet America East Player of the Week for the week ending March 4th. StatSheet's America East Freshman of the Week is Jameel Warney from Stony Brook.

Brenton led the America East in assists (7.0 per game). He also registered 10 points per game, 50% shooting, and 10 rebounds per game. The Stony Brook senior played well in victories versus Boston University and Albany.

Brenton led all rebounding for the Seawolves with 13 while adding 7 assists in a 71-55 win against Boston University. He followed that up with a team-leading 7 rebounds plus an additional 7 assists in a narrow 75-70 victory against Albany.

This is one of five StatSheet America East Player of the Week honors for Tommy Brenton. The runner-up this week is Maryland-Baltimore County senior Ryan Cook. Honorable mention goes to Vermont junior Brian Voelkel. The highest ranking player from Binghamton was Taylor Johnston who finished 19th.
