StatSheet's America East Player of the Week for February 11th goes to Boston University's D.J. Irving. Boston University's John Papale has won StatSheet's America East Freshman of the Week. Also, Joey Getz from Maryland-Baltimore County is the StatSheet America East 6th Man of the Week. Irving tallied 50% shooting, 8 rebounds per game, and 4.5 assists per game. The Boston University junior played well in victories against Maine and Binghamton.

Irving led the Terriers in rebounding with 10 and added 3 steals in a 79-72 win over Maine. That was followed by a team-leading 27 points plus an additional 3 steals in a huge 79-58 win over Binghamton.

This is the first time that D.J. Irving has been named the StatSheet America East Player of the Week. The runner-up this week is Vermont junior Brian Voelkel. Honorable mention goes to Vermont junior Clancy Rugg. Brian Freeman was the highest ranking player from Binghamton, finishing 16th.
